Despite the watershed 2006 elections, the extremists in the Republican Party expect to continue to undermine progress for middle class families by peeling away Democrats and moderate Republicans on important economic and community security votes. What Democrats need to understand is that there will be repercussions if they accede to the Republican agenda.
